Bilz USA had an incredible week at the 2022 International Manufacturing Technology Show. From connecting with manufacturers to checking out the latest technology in the industry, we gained valuable insight that we would like to share with you. Take a tour of the Bilz IMTS booth! We had all of our anti-vibration and leveling solutions on display for visitors to check out during the show, including precision leveling wedges, leveling feet, BiAir® air spring isolators, and FAEBI® rubber air springs. We even had one of our vibration-isolated tables in action! our PC calculation program.
Connecting with Bilz Germany
At the show, our team had the opportunity to meet up with the International Sales Manager of Bilz Vibration Technology AG, Uwe Steudel. He shared information on the projects they have been working on at Bilz Germany. Specifically, he discussed custom-fabricated vibration isolated tables for a variety of metrology equipment including roughness testers, precision measuring machines, and vision equipment. With Bilz Vibration Technology AG’s experience working with a wide range of product applications, we are eager to utilize his insight to create customized solutions for our customers here in North America.
Seeing Our Products in Action
As our team walked around the show, we spotted one of our products at the Mahr booth. Mahr is a global supplier of metrology equipment, rotary stroke bearings, and gear metering pumps. During the IMTS, they used a Bilz vibration isolated table to isolate one of their surface roughness testers. It was incredible to see our products provide a solution to our fellow presenters throughout the show.
The Latest Innovation
Manufacturing technology has rapidly advanced since the last International Manufacturing Technology show in 2018. A new wave of automation products is coming to the industry. We saw robotic arms that could automate material handling, from picking up parts to moving them to where they needed to go on a manufacturing line. We also saw x-ray testing equipment that could detect defects in parts. Our team had the opportunity to test it out by scanning one of our level control valves. It was inspiring to see the innovation in the industry first-hand and we are eager to see the continued progress in the coming years.
Our Highlight
While there was so much excitement throughout the week, our highlight was connecting with manufacturers from across the country. We enjoyed learning about their equipment and helping them solve problems they are facing in their manufacturing environments. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to meet with us.
